- 1997 - 1998
- In the very first year itself, under the dynamic leadership of the charter President Rtn. K.S. Venkatasubban, the club initiated several service projects such as the
- 365 days’ meal project
- Mega Medical Camp at Korattur
- Fortnightly Bulletin - TOPGEAR
- Was adjudged as one of the Top ten clubs in the district during the year 1997-98.
- 1998 - 1999
- Under the leadership of Rtn. Dr.K.N.Sukumaran during the year 1998-99, the club continued all its service programs and added a few like
- "Sanctuary", a project for providing emotional support to cancer patients and their families.
- A new look club Bulletin in colour & art paper was introduced during the year and
- the club bagged several awards from the district.
- 1999 - 2000
- The year 1999-2000 under the leadership of Rtn. R. Ravi Shankar, saw the club scaling greater heights.
- Projects like Tailoring Training Centre for Women at Puzhal,
- First ever RYLA Camp for Interactors
- Installation of permanent 4 Way Test Board
- Formed the RCC of Athipet (an all-women RCC),
- Conducted Rotaspark, an inter-school competition, etc were initiated during the year and
- no wonder, the club was adjudged one among the “Top 12 Clubs” in our district.
- 2000 - 2001
- Rtn. N.K. Jayakrishnan ensured that there was no let-up in terms of family participation and service projects under his President ship during the year 2000-01.
- First-ever Matching Grant project of the club for providing toilet and drinking water facility to Ayanambakkam Govt. School at a cost of Rs. 2 Lacs
- First-ever overseas Sister Club agreement etc were significant activities during the year
- The membership strength of the club crossed 30 for the first time.
- The club bagged the "Rotary Action Trophy Gold" for the best club in the district in the category of clubs with membership under 30.
- 2001 - 2002
- The rotary year 2001-02 under the Presidentship of Rtn. W. Anand saw RCMIC reaching the pinnacles of glory and recognition, with the club being adjudged the Best among all the 93 clubs in the district.

- Sister Club agreement in Malaysia etc were significant activities during the year.
- Rtn W Anand became the first major donor
- Maximum per capita contribution to the Rotary Foundation from our club were achieved during the year.
- 2002 - 2003
- Rtn. K.K. Sudheendran carried forward the activities of the club with full vigour as President during the year 2002-03.
- A mega fundraising program "Evening with Indian Cricket Team" was a tremendous success, bringing in substantial funds for the club’s service projects.
- The year also saw the club initiating its biggest matching grant project for providing various facilities for a Home for children of sex workers in Sathyavedu, at a cost of appx. Rs. 6.5.Lakhs
- 2003 - 2004
- RCMIC’s year under Rtn. Manoj Sheth during 2003-04, witnessed several unique projects.
- Lending a Hand in the area of community service, projects like eye Camps every month, bathing children around the slums, Swimming classes for the Blind, etc. have touched the heart of many.
- The first-ever Employer-Employee relationship award was instituted during the year.
- Yet another major activity was the commencement of the on-going project `Sahaayika’, through with treatment was provided to nearly 75 cancer patients at cost of appx.Rs.2.50 lakhs.
- 2004 - 2005
- Rtn.S.Srinivasan lead the club with distinction during Rotary’s Centennial year 2004-05.
- Under the Schools into Smiles project, the club renovated the Govt. Upper Primary School in Ambattur.
- When Tsunami struck Chennai coast, the club rose to the occasion and contributed substantially for the Tsunami affected victims.
- PP Ravi Shankar was sent as GSE Team leader to Finland, District 1470
- 2005 - 2006
- RCMIC’s year under the Presidentship of Rtn.K.Saravanaprakash during 2005-06 saw the club focusing on the Govt. school in Ayanambakkam
- The club provided the school with Drinking Water facilities and Classroom furniture.
- 2006 - 2007
- Rtn.J.Sridhar had a trailblazing year during 2006-07 with the club being adjudged No.1 club in Dist.3230 in per capita Annual Permanent Fund giving to The Rotary Foundation with highest ever club contribution of USD 23,819.
- Through a matching grant project of USD 35,000, the club donated 1000 sets. of benches and desks various Government schools in the district.
- The club also formed a new Rotaract Club at the SMK Fomra Institute of Technology.
- Our club Rtn W Anand was selected as the Governor for the year 2009-10
- The club received RAT Gold Award for overall performance in the District.
- 2007 - 2008
- Rtn.KN Suresh lead the club with distinction during the year 2007-08 with the club taking its fellowship activities to the international level with a team visiting Sri Lanka.
- A picnic for Handicapped children was organized when the club members took these children to VGP Golden Beach.

- The year 2008-09 under the leadership of Rtn.K.Ramakrishnan saw the club focusing on Family fellowship & ongoing projects resulting in consolidation & enhanced activity in these areas.
- A toilet block was constructed at the Ayanambakkam Govt school funded from the Rs.7 Lakhs raised from a Piano recital by prodigy Master Utsav Lal.
- 2009 – 2010
- The year 2009-10 under the leadership of Rtn.P.Subramanian was a landmark year with Rtn.W.Anand, a member from RCMIC, being the District Governor.
- The club’s contribution to The Rotary Foundation touched all-time high with an annual contribution in excess of USD 39,801.81.
- The club organized the first-ever RCMIC President’s Cup tennis tournament which has now become an annual event of the club.
- The club received Platinum Award for overall performance in District 3230.
- 2010 – 2011
@ 2022 - 2023 :
The Year 2022-23 under the leadership of Rtn. Emily Titus along with Secretary V.S.Srinivasan was made the year with the several Projects and Club Services during their tenure
The Club completed the Major IMH Hope Project in Ward 6 the 15th Block was Rennovated and innaugurated by RI Elect Director during his visit to India on 19th April’23
The Club conducted a major Blood Camp at Gummipoondi with the aid of Rtn. Subramanian at their Industrial area by number of Employees come forward to donnate the Blood
The Club conducted a Blood camp at Kovilambakkam which was Organised by our Club Secretary V.S.Srinivasan with the Donors of nearly 52 nos. and have received a Certificate of Award from Hindu Mission Hospital
